General Information[]
Silkbind Arts (formerly called Silkbind Attacks) is a feature that was first introduced in Monster Hunter: Rise and implemented in the fangame, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Petals of Pandemonium. Unlike it's mainline counterpart, Silkbind Arts act like the Weapon Skills from the first two Monster Hunter Stories titles, requiring a certain amount of Kinship to be used up in order to be performed. Riders may mix and match their loadouts, allowing them to equip up to three Silkbind Arts per weapon.

- Absolute Evasion - The wielder leaps forward with the help of a Wirebug, twirling in the air. Negates any DMG taken. Uses 12 Kinship.
- Absolute Readiness - The wielder leaps forward with the help of a Wirebug, twirling in the air. Negates any DMG taken and increases their Sharpness by 1 level. Boosts the wielder's ATK for 1 turn. Uses 12 Kinship.
Greatsword[]
- Mooncleaver Slice - An aerial leaping attack that has the wielder swing their Greatsword forwards in a wheel. Deals heavy Cutting DMG to a single target. Uses 18 Kinship.
- Ground Slash - The wielder scrapes their Greatsword across the ground as they run forward with the help of a Wirebug, unleashing a powerful shockwave with an upwards swing. Deals massive Cutting DMG to a single target. Uses 24 Kinship.
- Strongarm Stance - The wielder will assume a poised stance, hoisting their Greatsword in front of them. If they are attacked on the enemy's turn or win a Head-to-Head, then the wielder will negate all DMG taken and immediately follow up with a counter-attack. Deals heavy Cutting DMG to a single target. Uses 24 Kinship.
- Brimstone Slash - The wielder is protected by a Wirebug's Ironsilk as they charge up power for one turn, reducing any DMG taken by 75%. Afterward, they unleash all their stored power with a heavy downwards chop. Deals immense Cutting DMG to a single target, but the wielder will be downed for the next turn. Uses 30 Kinship.
Longsword[]
- Serene Pose - The wielder will assume a poised stance. If they are attacked on the enemy's turn or win a Head-to-Head, then the wielder will negate all DMG taken and immediately follow up with a counter-attack. Deals heavy Cutting DMG to a single target and negates any DMG taken. Uses 18 Kinship.
- Spectral Ring - The wielder uses a Wirebug to create a ring that encompasses the entire team, causing all allies’ Kinship Gauges to fill up faster for the next three (3) turns. Uses 22 Kinship.
- Soaring Spirit Helm Breaker - The wielder thrusts their Longsword forward before vaulting off their target, using a Wirebug to launch themselves skyward before performing a plunging chop. Deals heavy Cutting DMG to a single target at the cost of fully depleting the Spirit Gauge. Uses 22 Kinship.
- Silkbind Sakura Slash - The wielder leaps forward before using a Wirebug to launch themselves into enemies, performing two mid-air whirlwind slashes. If the attack connects, the Spirit Gauge is filled up. Deals heavy Cutting DMG to a single target. Uses 30 Kinship.
Sword & Shield[]
- Destroyer Oil - The wielder uses a Wirebug to coat their blade in a volatile oil which ignites through friction with their shield, boosting the wielder's ATK and Crit Rate for three (3) turns. Uses 13 Kinship.
- Iron Twister - The wielder uses Ironsilk to perform an overhead round-slash, using their sword like a whip. Uses 19 Kinship.
- Silkbind Sword Dance - The wielder performs a flurry of hacks and slashes, finishing up with a whirlwind slash. Deals heavy AoE Cutting DMG and has a chance to inflict Skillseal. Uses 22 Kinship.
- Silkbind Shoryugeki - The wielder guards with their shield, Wirebug in hand. If they are attacked on the enemy's turn or win a Head-to-Head, then the wielder will negate all DMG taken and counter-attack, launching themselves skyward with a Wirebug before smashing the target with their shield as they descend. Deals heavy Blunt DMG to a single target and has a chance to inflict Stun when attacking the head. Uses 26 Kinship.
Dual Blades[]
- Silkbind Blood Wind - Using a Wirebug to gain momentum, the wielder twirls in a circle thrice in a row, slicing through targets and dealing heavy Cutting DMG to a single target. Uses 12 Kinship.
- Wolf's Maw - The wielder's Dual Blades are shrouded in a purple, blazing aura and are chained to the wielder's arms with Ironsilk, allowing all attacks to hit twice and deal heavy AoE Cutting DMG for 3 turns. Uses 16 Kinship.
- Shrouded Vault - The wielder launches themselves forward, twirling in the air. IIf they are attacked on the enemy's turn or win a Head-to-Head, this will serve as a counter-attack and thus negate any DMG taken. Deals heavy Cutting DMG. Uses 20 Kinship.
- Spiral Slice - The wielder launches themselves into the air in a corkscrew motion, drilling through their target. If a weak spot is targeted, the wielder will perform a diagonal slash at the end of the combo, which is guaranteed to critical-hit. Deals heavy Cutting DMG to a single target. uses 24 Kinship.
Hammer[]
- Ironsilk Bind - The wielder's Hammer is shrouded in Ironsilk, raising their ATK for 3 turns. Uses 14 Kinship.
- Silkbind Typhoon Trigger - The wielder dashes forward with the help of a Wirebug, using the momentum to perform a forward-spinning multi-hit attack. The DMG dealt increases by x1.5 per hit, with the final blow being the most powerful. Deals heavy Blunt DMG to a single target. Inflicts Stun upon landing a Critical Hit. Uses 21 Kinship.
- Impact Crater - The wielder shoots skyward using a Wirebug, launching a rising multi-hit spinning attack. Deals heavy Blunt DMG to a single target and has a high chance to inflict Stun when attacking the head. The wielder will be Downed for one (1) turn afterward. Uses 26 Kinship.
- Fallingstar Smash - The wielder launches themselves into the air, spinning in a wheel as they fall back down to earth. Deals heavy Blunt DMG to a single target and has a high chance to inflict Stun when attacking the head. Uses 30 Kinship.
Hunting Horn[]
- Silkbind Shockwave - The wielder's Hunting Horn is covered in Ironsillk, allowing all attacks to hit thrice for the next 3 turns. Uses 12 Kinship.
- -- Silkbind Sonic Smash - The wielder uses a Wirebug to propel themselves forward, blasting sonic waves as they twirl towards their target. Deals heavy Blunt DMG to a single target and has a chance to inflict Stun. Removes all enemies' buffs upon landing a Critical Hit. Uses 15 Kinship.
- -- Harmonic Sonata - The wielder plays a serene symphony that gives the entire team Healing Over Time for three (3) turns. Has a chance to inflict Defense Down. Uses 22 Kinship.
- -- Roaring Rhythm - The wielder plays a powerful symphony that boosts the entire team's ATK for three (3) turns. Has a chance to inflict Skillseal. Uses 22 Kinship.
Lance[]
- Rampage Thrust - The wielder uses a Wirebug to propel themselves forward, landing two multi-hit jabs. Deals heavy Piercing DMG to a single target. Uses 16 Kinship.
- Plunging Jab - The wielder uses a Wirebug to propel themselves upward, before piercing their target as they descend. Deals heavy Piercing DMG to a single target. Uses 22 Kinship.
- Ironsilk Guard - The wielder assumes a defensive stance and shrouds their shield in Ironsilk, allowing them to boost their ATK for three (3) turns depending on how much DMG they take while in this stance. Maximum DMG stack is 30%. Uses 22 Kinship.
- Silkbind Corkscrew Jab - The wielder's Lance is shrouded in Ironsilk, charging up power before following up with a powerful drilling attack. Deals heavy Piercing DMG to a single target. Uses 30 Kinship.
Rapier[]
- Knight's Salute - The wielder holds their Rapier in front of them, using a Wirebug to create a silken ring that encircles the entire team. Increases ATK and SPD for the next 3 turns. Uses 14 Kinship.
- Pinpoint Thrust - The wielder jabs their Ironsilk-bound Rapier twice, marking a Monster's part with an Ironsilk Pin, causing all attacks delivered on the marked part to deal increased DMG for 3 turns. Deals Piercing DMG to a single target. Uses 19 Kinship.
Gunlance[]
- Blast Dash - The wielder leaps forward with the help of a Wirebug, afterwards using shelling recoil to close the gap between them and their target before performing a powerful downward slam. Deals heavy Piercing DMG to a single opponent. Uses 23 Kinship.
- Dragonflare Burst - The wielder uses a Wirebug to move forwards, afterwards driving their weapon upward into foes and unleashing a powerful, fiery blast. Deals heavy Piercing DMG to a single target and has a chance to inflict Fireblight. Uses 28 Kinship.
- Bullet Barrage - The wielder uses a Wirebug to propel themselves towards their target, unloading all their ammo afterward. Deals heavy Piercing DMG to a single target and has a chance to inflict Fireblight, at the cost of using up the next turn to reload ammo. Uses 28 Kinship.
- Silkbind Dragonblast - The wielder unleashes a vortex of Ironsilk and scorching flames, dealing heavy AoE Piercing DMG. If a Head-to-Head is won, then the Kinship Gauge will be filled up. Has a chance to inflict Fireblight. Uses 30 Kinship.
Switch Axe[]
- Tempest Axe - The wielder unleashes a rapid flurry of axe chops, shrouding the Switch Axe in Ironsilk. Boosts the DMG of all attacks performed in Axe Mode for the next three (3) turns. Deals heavy Cutting DMG to a single target. Uses 20 Kinship.
- Switch Charger - The wielder uses a Wirebug to restore the Switch Gauge. Once active, the Switch Gauge won't deplete for the next three (3) turns. Uses 22 Kinship.
- Advancing Gambit - The wielder will assume a poised stance, wrapping their Switch Axe in Ironsilk as it morphs into Sword Mode. If they are attacked on the enemy's turn or win a Head-to-Head, then the wielder will negate all DMG taken and immediately follow up with a counter-attack. Deals heavy Elemental DMG to a single target and fully charges the Switch Gauge. Uses 26 Kinship.
- Soaring Wyvern Blast - The wielder leaps into the air, using a Wirebug to propel them skyward. The weapon morphs into Sword Mode as the wielder performs a downwards chop, slamming the Switch Axe into the ground and unleashing a powerful burst of elemental energy. Deals heavy AoE Elemental DMG. Uses 30 Kinship.
Charge Blade[]
- Silkbind Energy Blade - A Wirebug creates a long blade out of Ironsilk, which gets shrouded in elemental energy. The wielder then performs an upward slice, dealing heavy Elemental DMG to a single opponent. Uses 18 Kinship.
- Ready Stance - The wielder assumes a defensive stance, binding sword and axe together with Ironsilk. If they are attacked on the enemy's turn or win a Head-to-Head, then the wielder will negate all DMG taken and immediately follow up with a counter-attack that charges up all phials. Uses 22 Kinship.
- Counter Peak Performance - The wielder assumes a defensive stance as their shield is shrouded in Ironsilk. If they are attacked on the enemy's turn or win a Head-to-Head, they will negate all DMG taken and charge up all phials, immediately counter-attacking with a Super-Amped Element Discharge. Deals heavy Elemental DMG to a single opponent and inflicts Stun upon landing a Critical Hit. Uses 28 Kinship.
- Skycleaver Axe - The wielder shoots skyward using a Wirebug, unleashing an aerial Super-Amped Element Discharge. Deals massive Elemental DMG to a single target and inflicts Stun upon landing a Critical Hit. Uses 30 Kinship.
Insect Glaive[]
- Silkbind Vault - The wielder propels themselves skyward before swinging their Insect Glaive forward in a wheel. Deals heavy DMG to a single opponent. Uses 16 Kinship.
- Kinsect Cyclone Slash - The wielder hurls their Kinsect, dealing DMG. After the Kinsect is launched, the wielder will close in using a Wirebug before performing a rapid, spinning attack. Deals heavy Cutting DMG to a single opponent at the cost of removing all active Extracts. Uses 16 Kinship.
- Kinsect Spray - The wielder recalls their Kinsect as they backflip out of harm's way, scattering healing extracts. Partially heals the team's HP. Uses 24 Kinship.
- Diving Wyvern - The wielder shoots skyward before piercing foes as they are dragged back down to earth. Deals heavy Cutting DMG to a single target. Uses 28 Kinship.
Bow & Arrow[]
- Herculean Draw - The wielder's Bowstring is coated in Ironsilk, boosting their ATK for 3 turns. Uses 11 Kinship.
- Binding Arrow - The wielder shoots an arrow loaded in Ironsilk, then follows up with another shot to the same part. Deals heavy Piercing DMG and deals additional DMG if a weak point is targeted. Uses 15 Kinship.
- Triple Volley - The wielder shoots two arrows in succession, before unloading a stack of three arrows bound together by Ironsilk. Deals heavy Piercing DMG to a single target. Uses 25 Kinship.
- Aerial Rain - The wielder uses a Wirebug to shoot skyward, unloading a volley of arrows into foes. Deals heavy AoE Piercing DMG. Uses 28 Kinship.
Light Bowgun[]
- Bullet Geyser - The wielder back-steps as they launch a land-mine, which is bound to the ground with Ironsilk. On the next turn, the explosive erupts. Deals heavy AoE Piercing DMG and has a chance to inflict Fireblight. Uses 22 Kinship.
- Dragon Blast - The wielder launches an extremely powerful blast with massive recoil, using a Wirebug to halt their momentum. Uses 27 Kinship.
- Silkbind Cannon - The wielder closes the gap on foes using a Wirebug before unleashing a powerful point-blank blast, dealing heavy AoE Piercing DMG. Has a chance to inflict Fireblight. Uses 27 Kinship.
- Hellfire Burst - The wielder shoots skyward, carpet-bombing foes with a volley of bullets. Deals heavy AoE Piercing DMG and inflicts Fireblight upon landing a Critical Hit. Uses 30 Kinship.
Heavy Bowgun[]
- Setting Sun - The wielder uses a Wirebug to create a ring of Ironsilk, which emits a special powder. This allows the user's attacks to hit 4 times for 3 turns. Uses 12 Kinship.
- Silkbind Voidpiercer Stake - The wielder shoots an Ironsilk Spike from their HBG, which deals heavy Piercing DMG to a single target. Uses 24 Kinship.
- Counter Blast - The wielder assumes a defensive stance, shrouding their HBG in Ironsilk. If they are attacked on the enemy's turn or during a Head-to-Head, then the wielder will negate all DMG taken and immediately follow up with a point-blank Super Nova. Deals heavy AoE Piercing DMG and has a chance to inflict Fireblight. Uses 26 Kinship.
Tonfas[]
- Brimstone Fists - The wielder’s Tonfas are shrouded in Ironsilk, allowing all attacks to hit 5 times for 3 turns. Uses 12 Kinship.
- Wyvern Smash - The wielder switches to Heavy Mode, unleashing a spirit-charged uppercut as they are propelled into the air before crashing back down with a powerful kick. Deals heavy Blunt DMG and has a chance to inflict Stun when hitting the head. Uses 24 Kinship.
- Dragon Spirit Twister - The wielder switches to Rapid Mode and launches themselves skyward, performing a corkscrew kick before propelling themselves into the target, performing a forward spinning attack. Deals heavy Piercing DMG to a single target. Uses 24 Kinship.
- Dragon’s Wrath - The wielder unleashes a barrage of kicks and punches, switching between Heavy and Rapid mode. The attack ends with the wielder launching themselves into the target, performing a drilling attack. Deals heavy Piercing and Blunt DMG to a single target. Uses 30 Kinship.
Accel Axe[]
- Centurion Smash - The wielder performs a forward-spinning attack with the help of a Wirebug, before unleashing shockwaves of elemental energy with a powerful downward smash. Deals heavy AoE Elemental DMG. Uses 20 Kinship.
- Barbaric Twister - The wielder assumes a poised stance. If they are attacked on the enemy's turn or win a Head-to-Head, then the wielder will negate all DMG taken and immediately follow up with a counter-attack, dealing heavy AoE Elemental DMG. Uses 24 Kinship.
- Hyperdrive Railgun - The wielder binds their Accel Axe to the ground using a Wirebug before overcharging their Accel Axe’s phial, unleashing the stored energy with a powerful ranged blast. Deals heavy AoE Elemental DMG at the cost of using up the next turn to reload. Uses 26 Kinship.
- Revolving Sun - The wielder uses a Wirebug to launch themselves skyward, spinning forward in a wheel and unleashing powerful outbursts of elemental energy. Deals heavy AoE Elemental DMG. Uses 30 Kinship.
Magnet Spike[]
- Magnetic Field - The wielder uses Ironsilk to boost the Magnet Spike’s capabilities, causing their attacks to deal AoE Elemental DMG for 3 turns. Uses 19 Kinship.
- Kinetic Shockwave - The wielder assumes a defensive stance. If they are attacked on the enemy's turn or win a Head-to-Head, then the wielder will negate all DMG taken and immediately follow up with a counter-attack. Deals heavy Elemental DMG to a single target and raises the wielder's ATK for the next 3 turns. Uses 23 Kinship.
- Silkbind Gravity Smash - The wielder propels themselves upwards using a Wirebug before magnetizing their weapon, causing them to gravitate toward opponents. Upon closing the distance, the wielder performs a downwards smash, unleashing shockwaves of magnetic energy. Deals heavy Elemental DMG to a single target. Uses 27 Kinship.
- Singularity Blast (Blade Mode) - Creating a ring of Ironsilk that encompasses the opponents, the wielder thrusts their Magnet Spike deep into the ground, causing the silk to react and form a magnetic field that renders opponents unable to move. On the next turn, they’ll follow up with a powerful, charged magnetic blast that deals AoE Elemental DMG. Uses 30 Kinship.
Hunting Whip[]
- Briars of War - The wielder coats their Hunting Whip in a layer of Ironsilk, increasing all their attacks' Crit Rate for 3 turns. Uses 15 Kinship.
- Dancing Serpent - Using the Wirebug for momentum, the wielder imbues their Hunting Whip with elemental energy and adeptly strikes at the enemy with a series of intricate lashes before finishing the attack with a straightforward strike, invoking the movements of a serpent soaring through the sky. Deals heavy Elemental DMG to one enemy and has a chance to inflict Skillseal. Uses 23 Kinship.
- Scarlet Hurricane - Hoisting the Hunting Whip over their head, the wielder rapidly swings it around while moving forward, sending wave after wave of slicing winds at the target, covering a wide distance. Deals Cutting DMG to all enemies and has a chance to inflict Bleeding. Uses 26 Kinship.
- Meteor Crash - Using the Wirebug to hoist themselves high into the air, the wielder hoists the Hunting Whip over their head and stores power before doing a heavy overhead swing that creates a sizable crater upon the impact site and a noticeable shockwave; due to the shockwave-based properties of this move, it can also force digging monsters out of the ground. Deals heavy Blunt DMG to one enemy and medium AoE DMG to surrounding enemies, with there being a chance of stunning the targeted enemy. Uses 26 Kinship.
